Please join us for the NYU Summer Launchpad 2016 Venture Showcase!

NYU Summer Launchpad is a 10-week accelerator for NYU student entrepreneurs providing funds, 1:1 mentorship & collaborative workspace. Accepted teams each receive a $10,000 grant, the skills, mentorship, and connections to get your promising venture up and running.

The ten participating teams will showcase their startups at an expo-style event on August 3rd. Come join the NYU community, other entrepreneurs, angel investors, and venture capitalists to hear their stories.

Where: At the Greenberg Lounge at NYU Vanderbilt Hall

Presenting teams:

Acculis: An augmented reality tool that overlays 3D models of building design to aid modular construction quality control managers in quality assurance, reducing massive correctional costs. Team: Darren Yee (Tandon '16), Chris Lysiuk (Tandon '17) Ada Slusarczyk (Tandon '17) and Nick Molinski (Tandon '16).
Centoku: An Inventory Management and Ordering platform to help bars track inventory, make better purchasing decisions and improve margins. Team: Prasant Sudhakaran and Eugene Kwak (both Stern '16).
CulturePass: A startup that is empowering people to be more engaged in the arts by simplifying discovery and access to performances, exhibitions, concerts, and more. Team: Victoria Michelotti (Stern '16) and Aaron Marks.
Geopipe: We automate creation of large-scale virtual models of the real world so architects can save the time and expense of manually creating such models. Team: Christopher Mitchell (Courant '15) and Thomas Dickerson.
MediVis: An application that creates 3D reconstructions of patient radiology data and enables surgeons to manage and view it in augmented reality. Team: Sean Kelly and Samanta Shi (both Shanghai '17).
MEG Cura: MEG Cura is a wearable devise which deducts and records muscular progress, provide a real-time feedback for musculoskeletal physical therapist. Team: Meshal Alhathal (Tandon '16) and Maryam Alkhaldi.
NewsAI: A news intelligence platform that saves time for public relations professionals to monitor published content & discover influencers. Team: Abhi Agarwal (Gallatin '16) and Julie Pan (GSAS '16).
Sani: A nutritionally customized meal shake that helps vegan athletes eat an optimal, plant-based diet with little effort. Team: Sebastian Garcia (Stern '15) and Danielle Soto (Stern '16).

Theatre Galleria: An online marketplace that saves designers time and money in sourcing their materials while simultaneously creating an additional revenue stream for producers seeking to recoup their production investment. Team: Jackie Kroeger (Stern '17 & Steinhardt '10) and Bryna O'Neill (Steinhardt '10)
Spectre: Providing a modular eye tracking solution for mobile virtual reality headsets to help developers create more interactive and intuitive applications while pushing smartphone performance. Team: Jack Juda (Tandon '15), Edith Juda and Paul Juda (Tandon '20).
